  1. INTERPRETATIONS
    1. In this License, unless the context otherwise requires, the following expressions have the following meanings
      1. TMA: Theatre Makers Asia archive
      2. TMA Website: http://www.tma-web.org
      3. Information: the digitized photos, videos, original and translated scripts, and text data, any other contents from the TMA Website.
      4. Academic Purpose: education and research by scholars, teachers, practitioners and general audiences interested in how plays are performed or interpreted in Asia.
  2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
    1. In order to be granted access to TMA Website and to use the Information and the Forum, You must register as a member. You are required to read the terms and conditions of this TMA Use License ("License") carefully and click on the “Accept” button before You will be able to register your membership of this Website.

  3. OWNERSHIP AND GRANT OF LICENSE TO ACCESS AND USE TMA WEBSITE AND INFORMATION

    1. TMA Website and NUS names, logos, crests and other marks are trademarks or registered trademarks of the respective organizations. No license to any trademark, copyright or other proprietary right is granted under this License or through any disclosure hereunder. Any use, reproduction, copying or redistribution of TMA Website and NUS names, logos, crests and other marks without the prior written permission of the organization is strictly prohibited.

  9. Termination
    1. Your license to use the TMA Website and the Information shall commence on the date You click “Accept” below. You may terminate this License at any time by de-registering your membership and destroying any portions of the Information in your possession. All restrictions on use and all other provisions that may reasonably be interpreted to survive termination of this License shall survive termination of this License for any reason.
    2. Your license to use the TMA Website and the Information will be terminated automatically by NUS if You fail or refuse to comply with any of the terms and conditions of this License. And NUS may bar your future access to and use of the Website and the Information.
    3. Upon termination of this License for whatever reason, You agree to cease to make any use of the TMA Website or the Information.
    4. Notwithstanding termination of this Agreement under any of its provision, 7 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 8 (Limitation of Liability), 9 (Indemnity), 10 (Termination), and any other Sections of this Agreement which from their context are intended to survive the termination of this Agreement, shall survive the Term or the termination of this Agreement and shall be deemed to remain in full force and effect.

    1. NUS reserves the right at any time to modify the manner of, suspend or terminate your use of or access to the TMA Website and/or the Information, with or without notice.
    2. NUS shall not be liable to You or any third-party for any expense, loss and/or damage arising out of or in connection with such modification, suspension, or termination.
    3. NUS may amend the terms of this License at any time by posting the amended terms on this Website and the amended terms shall take effect immediately upon such posting.
  11. General Terms
    1. This License constitutes the entire terms and conditions relating to the subject matter herein and cancels and supersedes any prior versions of the License. You may not modify the terms and conditions of this License. You must not assign or otherwise transfer the License or any right granted hereunder.
    2. This License shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without reference to any conflict of law principles, and any legal action or proceeding between NUS and You for any purpose concerning this License shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Singapore.
    3. If any term or provision of this License shall be found to be invalid, illegal or otherwise unenforceable by any law or regulation of any government, or by any court or jointly appointed arbitrator, such finding shall not affect the other terms or provisions of this License, or the whole of this License, but such term or provision shall be deemed modified to the extent necessary to render such term or provision enforceable, and the rights and obligations of the parties shall be construed and enforced accordingly, preserving to the fullest permissible extent the intent and purposes of the parties set forth in this License.
    4. Rights and obligations under this License that by their nature should survive shall remain in full force and effect after termination or expiration of this License for three (3) years.
    5. Any express waiver or failure to exercise promptly any right under this License shall not create a continuing waiver or any expectation of non-enforcement.
    6. Any third party who receives any portion of the Information from you is also bound by the terms of this License and You shall be responsible for informing such third party of the same.
